Chimney sweeping
The full flue, smoke chamber and firebox, swept of soot and creosote so the chimney draws properly — and we show you the debris we pulled out before it leaves the property.
Chimney and fireplace work is handled by Pure Chimney Sweep, the chimney division of PUREVENT. The $89 Level 1 inspection covers the firebox, damper, flue and exterior — with photos and a written report before you light the first fire.

Camera-assisted Level 1 and Level 2 inspections with photos and a written condition report. The Level 1 inspection — firebox, damper, flue and exterior — is a flat $89.
Interior cleaning of the firebox, smoke shelf and damper with HEPA containment — no dust in the room.
Crown rebuilds, tuckpointing and firebox repair, plus caps and chase covers. Repairs are quoted in writing from the inspection and approved by you before any work starts.
A typical combined sweep and inspection visit takes about two hours. It starts with the camera, not the brush.
The camera documents the firebox, damper, flue and exterior before a brush comes out. You see the findings themselves, not a summary of them.
The flue, smoke chamber and firebox are swept under HEPA containment, so the soot and creosote come out of the chimney — not into your room.
The camera runs the flue again after the sweep, so the before-and-after record shows the creosote is actually gone.
You get the photos and a written condition report: what we found, what we did, and anything worth watching — with a firm written price if a repair is needed.
The Level 1 inspection is a flat $89 — firebox, damper, flue and exterior, with photos and a written report included. If the chimney needs a sweep or a repair, we price it on site from the inspection, in writing, and nothing starts until you approve it. Replacement parts are quoted separately, the same way. That is the whole policy.
The Level 1 inspection is a flat $89. It is a camera-assisted check of the firebox, damper, flue and exterior, and it includes photos and a written condition report. If the findings call for a Level 2 camera inspection or a repair, that is priced in writing from what we found — before any work begins.
Once per heating season for regular use. The trigger we actually measure is creosote: at about an eighth of an inch of buildup a sweep is due, and glazed creosote past a quarter inch is effectively fuel sitting inside the flue.
A sweep is the cleaning: soot and creosote removed from the flue, smoke chamber and firebox. An inspection is the condition check: camera, photos and a written report on the firebox, damper, flue and exterior. Most visits combine both, and a combined visit typically takes about two hours.
Yes. Fireplace service for gas and wood-burning fireplaces is a flat service rate covering diagnostics, repair, deep cleaning and inspection. Replacement parts, if a repair needs them, are priced and quoted separately.
No. The work runs under HEPA containment, floors are covered, and the debris we remove is shown to you and taken away. The room is left as clean as we found it.
Yes — air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning are the other half of PUREVENT, and chimney and duct work is often booked in the same visit.
